What is it?
Muchosmedia’s EventChat is a text chat application that can be embedded easily into any website. It is ideally suited to support live webcasts and other online events and offers the audience an immediate feedback channel.
Online participants can engage with the audience and hosts at the event as well as communicate amongst themselves. This is particularly useful if the chat display is projected onto a screen on site, giving the live audience a direct view into the events that are happening online. We used this setup with great success at bTWEEN.

Admin Tools
A dedicated admin person can log into the chat and

- Enable and disable the chat, for example prior to and after the event
- Kick individual users out of the chat room
- Access chat transcripts after the event
- More detailed reporting options are under development
